Recordings of spontaneous improvisations. I just played what came to mind. Getting a totally perfect improvisation is not so easy, as the mind sometimes wanders a bit far away, so some deficiencies will be noted.
Giving names to improvisations is difficult, so I just label them with roman numbers. Below I give some comments describing a bit the character.
Fanfare (2:26)
The organ sounds a bit out of tune but was in fact set to historic
Meantone temperament; perhaps not best choice for improvisations with a lot of modulations and
probably for this reason the recording ends a bit abruptly.
Cheeky (1:34)
An attempt to be cheeky is a bit risky for an improvisation, and the rythm is not always as systematic as a composer would set it.
